In light of the Attorney General’s Resignation, we hope this policy on more
leniency in drug cases continues. AG Holder’s message begins at 1:00 minute
    .

The AG said, “The White House has indicated it wants to consider additional
clemency applications, to restore a degree of justice, fairness, and
proportionality for deserving individuals who do not pose a threat to
public safety. The Justice Department is committed to recommending as many
qualified applicants as possible for reduced sentences.” #pardon #clemency

The AG and the President are trying to clear out the prisons with
non-violate drug felons. I am all for that, because the federal laws are
stiff. But what about federal ex-felons that have petitioned the AG and the
    President for pardons?

What about the many in state prisons on non-violent drug offenses with
minimum mandatory sentences? Thanks for the comment. #minimummandatory
